Planners, Inks and Thin Cuts

I just got back from a fantastic October craft retreat (thanks to C&C).  I’m super excited because Close To My Heart held their Australia convention over the same 4 day weekend.  So, as of Monday, October 17, planners, new inks and more thin cuts are available to order.  Here is a rundown of the new items.

First  – the 2017 Everyday Life Planners

Do you have one planning book that you use all the time?    I use my Everyday life planner daily as a planning tool, date book and memory keeper.  The pages are pretty and there is just the right amount of space to write daily notes.  This year they are offering a binder in the color of the year – sea glass.

Another new feature is the month tabs designed like adult coloring pages. It’s like stress relief built into your most important daily tool.   Also included is a zipper pouch and 3 gold paper clips.

The 2017 planner pages can be bought as a separate item if you already have a favorite binder.   Or choose a bundle  that includes the new sea glass binder or stripes binder. Look for these on the ‘monthly specials’ tab when you shop online. Don’t wait to order,  the bundles are for a limited time only!

Next  – New Inks  with a New Style

16-ai-exclusive-color-stamp-pad-open You can’t stamp without ink. To keep the ink from drying you need to be able to open and close your ink each time you use it.

This year Close To My Heart has redesigned their ink pads to make them easier to use. I know many people who couldn’t use our snap close inks.

Now, instead of the snap, these ink pads open and close easily with the use of magnets. They are slightly bigger making it easier to ink large stamps.

Best of all, starting this week you can get a new ink pad in each of Close To My Heart’s 44 current colors.

Remember, Ink pads are eligible for hostess rewards.  Ask me how you can host a gathering and use your rewards to get free ink pads.

Finally, More Thin Cuts….

If you haven’t tried thin cuts, you should.  You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it is to have a cut image ready for your projects.  I tried this for the first time this weekend and I loved cutting and stamping the images.  For a crisp looking card or page, using thin cuts is the way to go.

Look for thin cut bundles in the Holiday Expression Catalog.  You’ll find these new thin cuts (shown above) are not in a catalog and have been added to the online shopping sites.

Sweet Birthday (cupcake)                                                                         School Kids (boy/girl and school house)                                                     Swirly seashells (seashells)                                                                    Wreath ( wreath)

That is all for this post.  More convention news to come and I’ll share my retreat projects later as well.

Happy planning / stamping / cutting,                                                                         Geri
